Hello Jazz Directors -Thank you all again for another successful jazz season. Our championships went very well.

As you many have heard, Jeff Twiford has stepped down as our Jazz judge coordinator. Jeff has been with us for the past eight years in this position bringing all our jazz programs and judges to a higher level along with the rest of our jazz team. Jeff will still be judging as one of our regular judges and will also be a jazz consultant with us for another year. Cavalcade thanks Jeff tremendously for all his tireless efforts in our activity.

Paul Smith, our current marching band and indoor judging coordinator, with the Cavalcade Boards approval, will add the jazz administrator role to his current position. Paul has a long career in the marching arts with Cavalcade, regionally and nationally along with being our judging coordinator since January 2010. Some of you may know him already, a great guy and organizer. I have worked well with Paul in other capacities for many years, and know you will like him.
